TSJ is eager to receive submissions of memoir, personal essay, travel writing, poetry and creative nonfiction. Short fiction, considered in all genres, is also needed. Before submitting, please read carefully our submissions guidelines on this website.

The TSJ editorial board strongly advises writers to submit work which allows readers to find what Own Barfield called “interior significance” and “a felt change of consciousness” – writing that is meaningful, revelatory and efficient while taking risks. We look forward to selecting the best work from both new and established writers.
